Administration

The Village of Glen Ellyn’s Administration Department is responsible for administering the programs and policies established by the Village Board. The Administration Department also provides a variety of services to residents including notary public, voter registration and general information.

Village Manager's Office

The Village of Glen Ellyn operates under the Council-Manager form of government and is a home rule community, which gives the Village Board a broad range of authority over local affairs. 

Under this form of government, the Village Manager, who is appointed by the Village Board, administers the programs and policies established by the Village Board, directs and coordinates the operations of the Village departments, and informs the Village Board on Village affairs and issues.
