Lock It or Lose It

Delaying a burglar for even a short time is usually enough to prevent entry into a house, apartment, or vehicle.  It is almost impossible to make a home or vehicle "crime proof," but it is easy to make entry difficult and frustrate a burglar.

Home, garage, and vehicle doors should always be locked.  The vast majority of burglaries to motor vehicles occur when a car door is unlocked. An unlocked vehicle in the driveway may give burglars access to your home via a garage door opener or keys left in the vehicle.   Protect your home by locking your vehicle!

Never leave keys outdoors.  Burglars know where to find "secret" hiding places.
