The Village’s waste hauler, Groot, will continue with the regularly scheduled refuse and recycling collection on Mondays. All trash/refuse and recycling must be placed in a designated cart, a can with handles, or bagged. Loose, uncontained items will not be collected. Please take note of the following updates and changes:
Suspension of Bulky Item Collection and E-Waste
Groot has suspended all bulky item/construction debris collection and all white good/e-waste collection until further notice. Please hold onto these items until a later date rather than placing them at the curb for pickup.
Unlimited Refuse Collection Postponed
To ensure the safety of Groot employees and our community, the unlimited refuse collection originally scheduled for April 20 has been postponed. The Village will be working with Groot to reschedule a new date and will inform residents of the new date, once finalized.
