The DuPage County Health Department (DCHD) expanded their vaccination eligibility beginning March 24 to include Phase 1b Plus individuals who were previously not eligible in DuPage County due to limited local availability of vaccines. While the DCHD may still prioritize appointment notifications for those individuals identified as higher risk, such as persons over 65 years, all eligible groups may now register and begin to receive County appointment notifications. In DuPage County, an estimated 174,443 DuPage County residents will become newly eligible in Phase 1b Plus.

DCHD is one of many providers in DuPage County currently administering the COVID-19 vaccine. These include healthcare providers and retail pharmacies. We encourage residents to explore all options to access the vaccine, sign-up on multiple lists, and take advantage of the soonest appointment available to them. The State of Illinois has created a vaccine locator map with the approved vaccine providers. Visit here to view the map.
