| The Cashier's Office, located in the Civic Center lobby area, is staffed by our full-time Accounts Manager and seven part-time Fiscal Clerks. The Cashier's Office collects and records all payments received via the mail or in person at the Civic Center as well as receiving utility bill payments electronically. The Cashier's Office manages all facets of the Village's monthly combined utility billing program for water/sanitary sewer and solid waste collection services. Additionally, the cashier's office administers the Village vehicle license program, the business registration program (which includes an annual fire inspection) and the parking permit renewal process. Other transactions include the collection of building permit fees, dog licenses, parking citations and other miscellaneous fees. |

To obtain a transfer stamp to record deeds or real estate trust documents you will need to complete a Real Estate Transfer Tax Stamp Application (pdf) and schedule a clearwater inspection of your home. If you meet specific criteria for a refund of the real estate transfer tax you can fill out a Real Estate Transfer Tax Refund Application (pdf) . Refund qualification criteria are stated on the form. |

Glen Ellyn residents must purchase a vehicle sticker for each car. Stickers cost $25 per
car and expire each year on April 30. Residents also have the option to purchase a
three-year vehicle sticker at a discounted price
of $70.
Purchase your vehicle stickers by mail
using the renewal form (pdf) or at the
Cashier’s Office.
Vehicle stickers may also be purchased at
the Police Department in the Civic
Center which is open 24 hours per day.
Effective May 1, a late fee of $5 per
month, per vehicle, will be assessed for
vehicles that don’t display the new
sticker. In addition, the Police Department
will be issuing $50 tickets for noncompliance. |
