Village Surplus Online Auction
Welcome to the Village of Glen Ellyn's surplus equipment online auction. Bidding on each item ends at midnight on the day listed. Bids must be received either by online bids, or by filling out the online form and delivering it to the Civic Center Cashier's Office (Civic Center will not accept hand-delivered bids past 4:30pm on the final day).
The person with the winning bid will have one week after notification to pick up the item(s) (delivery not available) and if the items are not claimed, then they will become available to the next highest bidder.
The Village will notify the winning bidders within 3 business days of closing of the bidding process.
For the purpose of this auction, “notification” is defined as contact by telephone, sending an e-mail or leaving a voicemail message. 

NOTE: This website will not be updated past 4:30pm on the final day. Bids can still be accepted until Midnight, but the site will not reflect thise bids until the following day.

The Village of Glen Ellyn is interested in evaluating the market for some audience seating which will soon be declared surplus.  If interested in purchasing these chairs, please click on the “submit bid” button and follow the instructions to provide contact information, and your bid for the chairs.  Preference will be given to bidders interested in the entire lot, but large subdivisions will be considered.  The Village reserves the right to reject all bids. 
Details follow:

  1. 120 Kreuger International (KI) “Matrix” chairs with a foot print of approximately 20 x 22 inches each
  2. “ganging” clips (connect chairs together) are attached, but many of the clips are broken
  3. These are stackable chairs.  The manufacturer’s chair cart pictured is NOT for sale at this time, but is available from the manufacturer. 
  4. The chairs were purchased new in 1993.
  5. Condition of the chairs is quite good, although the “mauve” or “salmon” fabric is quite faded.
  6. The chairs will be available in August, 2008.
