“My favorite part of Glen Ellyn is the sidewalk; it is there that one can appreciate much of what Glen Ellyn has to offer – whether they lead to one of the many parks, the historic downtown, the College of DuPage, a pool, a boathouse, a bird sanctuary, the golf course, the Willowbrook Wildlife Center, the Prairie or Great Western trails, a community garden, events downtown, the neighborhoods themselves, or so much more. There is much to take in and appreciate – nature, the many family focused amenities, the rich variety of architectural details in homes and buildings, the rhythm of each block, the many shops and restaurants, and more. There is always something interesting that engages the walker - not to mention the people and pets one encounters,” said Gould.
