Census 2020 logo

The next decennial census is just around the corner in 2020. The census, held on April 1, 2020, will help determine our state’s representation in Congress, as well as how funds are spent for schools, hospitals, roads and more.

If you’d like a chance to get involved, consider applying for a temporary position with the U.S. Census Bureau and make sure everyone is counted! It’s a perfect opportunity to earn additional income while serving your community. Jobs in the Glen Ellyn area offer flexible work schedules and $29.50 per hour, as well as travel reimbursement at $0.58 cents per mile. To be eligible, you must be a minimum of 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and have access to a car and a computer.

For information on 2020 Census job opportunities and details on positions and the application process, the Census has created a Jobs Fact Sheet.
