On Friday, May 29, the Village of Glen Ellyn entered into Phase 3 of Governor Pritzker’s Restore Illinois plan. With new state guidelines in place, many of Glen Ellyn’s dining establishments have re-opened and introduced new outdoor cafes and seating areas.
Outdoor Dining Tent on Main: Main Street Al Fresco
The Dine on Duane tent has moved around the corner to Main Street! This new outdoor dining option offers restaurants the opportunity to expand their dining to inside the tent. A few things to note to further enjoy dining in downtown Glen Ellyn:
- The tent is now located between Duane and the Main Street lot (parking lot remains open).
- Traffic in both directs is closed on this section of Main Street.
- Restaurant curbside pick-up can be accommodated along Duane, Hillside and the area of Main, south of the tent.
