College of DuPage, County and Village officials, along with business leaders and members of the community celebrated the opening of Innovation DuPage on Wednesday, May 22. An estimated 300 people visited and toured Innovation Dupage's new headquarters located in the Glen Ellyn Civic Center.
Innovation DuPage is a collaborative, public-private business incubator and accelerator that fosters innovation and job growth. The space will allow start-ups and early-stage businesses to share ideas, grow, learn, and develop public and private partnerships. The new space also includes the Business Development Center (formerly the College's Center for Entrepreneurship), which houses the Illinois Small Business Development Center, Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center and Illinois International Trade Center.
