The Village of Glen Ellyn has been recognized by the Arbor Day Foundation as a 2022 Tree City USA community for the 39th consecutive year. Glen Ellyn also received the Growth Award for the second straight year, and the 15th time overall.
The Village is dedicated to maintaining its urban canopy and prioritizes planting and caring for trees. The Public Works Department has a variety of programs that enhance the health and diversity of trees within our community, including a tree pruning dashboard that shows when pruning takes place across the Village.
